When Walls Fall
That window's becoming familiar
So is the flat notes
My roomate sings
But they're in worship
From a heart broken by their power
And are beautiful.
Because Your grace is enough
Because Your way's are renowned
Because You chose us to reflect You
May Your name be honored.
There's a great wall outside
Beyond my window
And a familiar street
It screams the hardness of souls
Into the night
Hoping someone would listen
And break it down.
Those flat notes penetrate the door
Worship of God is coming forth.
The task here, at hand
Is massive and difficult
And we strike flat notes often
But use us LORD to knock down walls.
We need Your help
We need Your strength
May we catch Your vision
Similar to what I see now
As York's great wall comes falling
Falling down.

these are the moments that pass us by

I'm learning to be vulnerable again. I'm learning to wait on the LORD, and to let go of the things that I once, and often still, hold so dear. I'm learning to walk again...eventually I hope to have the boldness, by the Holy Spirit, to step out of this boat. God's changing lives here, that's what's important. The details are great, the site of eternity is much greater. "Catlin, blaze!" I think that is perhaps the MOST encouraging thing I've ever heard...I want to blaze. These are the days, these are the moments, that pass us by...and i want to take them in, it's just hard sometimes
