I can't believe it's been almost two months since i've posted any pictures, but i haven't really taken many lately either. I am far too comparitive when it comes to art, and photography I genuinely- which i dont consider myself to be too good at (especially when i'm around some of the more amazing artistic friends I have.) With that said I have done a couple photoshoots. One for my brother, and one for a co-worker who ended up submitting the photos we took to some major retail chain for plus size girls and got accepted as a plus-sized model. So anyway, heres a couple pictures from recently

Well I apologize ahead of time because the weather in England did not permit me to take very many pictures at all. Two of these pictures were actually taken in airports...the first picture isn't even from England at all...but I wanted to put it up anyway. I also apologize, I know blogger tends to decrease the quality of these pictures...but still, blogger seems like the best option for me for the time. poems that is...
not many, but some, have graced these pages. Fewer people will find them here- hidden amoung pictures few care to look at. I read blog entries dating back to England today. People read then...not that that matters. I wrote with substance- well, atleast i think so. There was hope, and naiveté. I think that's what this poem is about. I've been critical in my poetry lately...this is only critical of myself:

I have no poetry anymore
Only ridicule
And pointed prose.
The beauty of pensive porcelain
Has gone-
The depth of cobblestone.
I'm suffocating
In comfort
Drowning
In familiar
There is no longer music
Nor hearing
No cloud
Nor rain-
The things that remind me to feel.
This pen offers little hope
These words lack release
And the power to change
The reality I'm bound to.
I am no longer touched by fire.

Arizona

I've been fortunate to have had the oppurtunity to photograph some amazing things over the last week. I spent a few days in Arizona hanging out with Melissa and Kristen- most of the pics below are from our trip to Sedona. I also had the oppurtunity of photographing Sam and David's wedding- but those pics won't be up for awhile, as I want them to have the first look. In more practical "photography news" I am growing quite tired of using Blogger as my photosite it's so much more a hastle than a convience. If anyone knows of a photosite that is free, easy, and offers lots of storage space please let me know, because this is just not working for me anymore! I tried using Parazz- and like it so far, but I don't know how much storage the basic account offers. Anyway- enjoy my trip to Arizona and, as always, anyone can comment (even if you are not a blogger member)

Malibu Beach Trip

These pics are the result of a weekend in Malibu. It was definetly good times and, even though I didn't try it, I think I've learned I'd rather be the man shooting the surfer, than the surfer himself.
